I know people who keep really odd things, for example, giant earwigs(!), slugs, and roaches, and I know that there is a market for ants, but I was wondering if you had ever heard of anyone that had kept termites?

Not wanting any!

ants are reletively common, but never heard of termies

And if they get out, they eat the joints in yer house, and it all falls down!

In the wild, they can make massive mounds, quite impressive..
