Over the weekend all 10 of my spiderlings shed, (been a worrying weekend) unfortunately one of them is still attached to its shed by 2 of its legs. I tried gently pulling it but it wouldn't budge and obviously I didnt want to pull too hard id take the little fellas legs off. Any idea what I should do?
Strange thing, is that this guy seems to want the help, since i got him, he hasn't hardly come out of his hole, and is always skittish when i open the lid to throw in some crickets. Yet now he is out in the open and didn't run away when i was trying to separate his shed. He actually seemed to know what i was trying to do. The little guy is a Mexican redknee. |

I decided to have a very close look to see how badly the legs where attached to the shed and i was thinking that like you suggested I would have to pull them off not something i was looking forward to doing when he decided to do it himself. It started pulling against the shed which I was holding with tweezers and off popped the legs. The severed legs where twitching for a good 5 minutes afterwards, was freaky.
Will it be ok now? do I have to do anything else? Or just wait for its next moult? I couldn't see any blood just 2 little stumps where his legs used to be. Thanks for the help. |

As long as there is no fluid coming from the stumps you should be fine
