I bought an e. vulpinus sling from spidershop at Newark. It is the smallest sling I've ever seen at less than 1.5 cm legspan. I bought some really small crix today and offered one. The cricket was as big as the body of the sling, but it's been killed and in process of being eaten. I actually put 2 crix in but the other one was still running around so I removed it. Added a tiny plastic leaf for some cover, but still had to cut down the leaf to get it in the pot.
my other new spid ate a rather bigger cricket so i'm happy with both of them.
I'm trying to get a picture but getting nowhere...
The blue femur is brown - looks a lot to my untrained eye like a brachpelma vagans.
The E. vulpinus is far too small to have any colour yet - just black. ferocious little thing though! I still can't believe it's so small.
