Its a risk you take, though i spose she wasnt expecting it..im sure she would have flinched or something to induce a bite, they dont bit efor no reason. poor woman!
Having a spider on your eye is about as tempting as putting one in your pants!, soft squidgy skin, with soft squidgy ball behind, lol
She didn't have it on her face purposely. She opened it and thought it was dead, poked it and it shot up her arm, across her shoulder, up her neck and onto her face and bit her above the eye!! A bloomin' Brachy!

The only one of those three you have that I'm not sure about is the GBB. The other two should be ok as long as you don't do anything stupid. Be careful of the Avic jumping though.

I hold my B auratum sling, but I'm still trying to get the courage to try my skittish juve A genic. I see the speed she gets her prey and runs to her hide when bothered and wonder if she'll do that when I attempt to scoot her onto my palm,,hmmmm

The auratum shouldn't give any biting trouble but are said to like flicking hairs a lot. The genics are meant to be aggressive so be careful if you do try to handle it.

My male was evil, but my female is quite handleable... got to go slooooow though. The thought of 1 inch fangs makes me sweat a little though! (Shes a big girl at 9.5 inches!)
Cant handle her now though, she was mated late March and is huuuuge so i leave her alone

Spiders are all instinct Chris, every time you handle them will be the 'first' time to them. Although they can become conditioned with repeted behaviour.
One guy 'trained' his pokie by brushing it gently with a brush everyday for a couple of years lol
