Believe me it works. The 1st day on my own with her was a test and a half. I brought huuuuuge tweezers so i could change the water etc. I was shaking like hell. Am so proud of my self after just 2 weeks.

haha
im scared of spiders myself too ,but i find them fascinating.
but recently ive advanced my invert collection towards t's & now have 23
they really are amazing .
i still dont want to hold 1
i still jump a mile when 1 grabs the tweezers
but just watching them go about their business in the tank is ace.
& watching 1 shedding is absolutely mesmerising

edit.
i can highly recommend a b.smithi (mexican red knee) i now have 5 & they are my favourite t

I also helped myself by making myself look at pics of spideys. Was hard at 1st but now i am a lot better.

I still shake a bit when i open a tank but it is different when u have a creature depends on you. Sort of makes you forget your fear. I can honestly say i love my little T and i never ever thought i could ever say that.

I recommend the smithi as they look less scarey and they are pretty so sort of takes your mind off it.

I have already started looking at my next spidey which should be fun.

I hope it works as well for you as it has done for me. I am so pleased i made this leap eventhough it consisted of sleepless nights and took me a while to be able to move the tank into my room. Now i cant imagine life without one.

Good luck. Feel free to pm if you ever need advice over how i did it.
