lol, i noticed a mature male 1cm british spider moving in with my 9inch pamphobeteus girl:P
first pic showes his webbing in her burrow. you can see him on the roof in the second pic..i couldnt get a clear pic unfortunately. follow the big spiders back legs directly up and you should see it

Be careful man, id remove that steatoda sharpish for the wellbeing of your pampho. British house spiders are notoriously aggressive, especially tenegenaria sp and these little guys may seem 'cute' but they can kill your T. Just a word of advice :p

cheers for the concern Oli, i know some about Steatoda sp. iv had enough, lol
they pose a risk, but not with such a size difference. especially with a male Steatoda, close reletives of Laterodectus sp. and the female are the ones with the real potency, then theires the size difference between male and female Steatoda sp. males are teeny
