thinking of taking a few trips to some shops today. anyone know anywhere that has a good selection of inverts? im from leicester. been to scales and tails already.

dont know where most the forum are from all i can say is we have a great store here in Dundee Hlltown, its only been open a few months for feeders but this week he finallly got his full licence and friday he had everything imaginable from snakes to anachrids inverts beardies and so much more, i had a good look at all the stock and i have to say the quality of specimens are second to none and his prices are the cheapest i have seen yet. i purchased a beardie from him in a private sale a couple months ago beautiful healthy reptile, bought my spider from him yesterday and had i had the set up i would have walked out there with a ball python baby too.(which i will add were sold out by the end of the day)
if you are near fife/dundee surrounding area it is well worth the look.
if there is a specific invert etc you are looking for he will source it as soon as and e-mail you straight away with a response and update.
My lemon phase beardie cost me £40
my sub adult chilean rose cost me £12 although price ranges from £12 to £20. i know this may seem like a "plug" but we only have one other store near without far distance travelling and they are in monifeith

and i would NOT buy anything from angus pet emporium, monifeith they bring in stock and put them in unsanatised tanks no matter what was in that tank before, sell you all the wrong kit and my first beardie i bought was from monifeith store he was a full grown undernourished adult but i was told he was a juvie 2 weeks after purchase. i had to go to the vet with him and he had full blown MBD, and only lived a year and that was prolonged with a lot of tlc and being syringe fed with baby food, bone aid and other supplements supplied by the vet.
so please be aware of store surroundings and ask lots of questions if using a retailer i would hate to see anyone else be sold sick reps/herps etc of any discription while those kind of people make big profits from sick and dying species

salem ornimental
white knees
emp scorps
brachys
mantids
chillie rose

all sorts of bits and bobs

quite low on other types of inverts at the moment
