Default The best mantis species on the planet

i wish i could get hold of a few of these again..i miss not having them so much...graham use to sale..any one breeding them?

top one if a female
bottom one is a male
both adults

Hierodula salomonis

Hierodula have never apealed to me, I have never kept them though. How come they're your favourite?

size,colour and character..you dont get many mantids with yellow body,pink belly and red inner arms..also under my lens they rock.. Hierodula salomonis - a set on Flickr

omg they are amazing !

btw what do you keep yur mantids in? are they all in msh net things?
- also d'ya know ifi can use an exoterra explorarium?

I will have to keep them to see what they're like.
A Flexarium would be better, but a bit big.

no u wont..no one sales them..and graham has been out of stock for 10 months..if u can get any let me know ok.

i use 32oz deli cups with fabric lid and for the bigger mantids i use 1ftx1ft net cages.
