Default feeding schedule guide?

I was thinking don't know how well this aplies to people when keeping the T's but what is the basic feeding schedule for say;

Spiderling
Juveniles
Sub adult
Adult

The reason for this is becuase when i was reading various caresheets and even the book i have does not list any basic rule if you like for feeding. A example would be is that they all list for a adult spider 4 large crickets that can be feed all at once or over the week and that is all that seems to be listed.

So if anyone can give a idea of how the feed their T's and a what stage of there life which is listed above and give information like:

Size of food item?
What food item?
How often?

Just thought it would be a good idea depending how the thread goes it could even be made a sticky so others can read easy enough and help them with any problems.

Thanks Sam

Because tarantula are opportunistic feeders they'll eat what you give them. The argument goes on about whether you can over-feed but as a guide, feed items that are about the size of the abdomen, anything left after 1 or 2 days should be removed. Slings require more food items so I feed mine 2 or 3 pin-head crickets twice a week. Everything else gets 1 or 2 crickets/locusts/roach/worms twice a week. If the abdomen looks rather bloated then its fine to miss both feedings. Tarantula are used to going without food for periods which is why they'll eat when there's food around even if they've already eaten.
Stanley Schultz recommends 6 crickets per month but most people I know feed a little more than that.

Slings .... anywhere between twice a week and once a month
Juves .... anywhere between once a week and once a month
Adults ... anywhere between once a week to once every few months.

I do try and feed very small slings twice a week just so I can get them big enough so I can stop buying micro's
Almost everything else is generally fed once every 7 -10 days or when I can find a few hours spare to feed them all.
Some of my adult females are a big on the porky side so they are on a see food diet ..... they can see it but cant have it I have got a few that havent been fed since Easter ..... and they havent lost a mm in girth.

If I run out of a certain size of food insect then they just dont get fed until i can get some more, which could mean the next day or 3-4 weeks later.
I also dont feed them at a set time either, I feed mine anytime from late mornings to very early hours of the next morning.

I like to keep them guessing on when the next meal is coming along

I just feed as and when I can fit it in. Usually once every couple of days.
