Default What Is It

HI
I have found on my shed door what looks like a web. Its shape is like a cotton reel tapered at one end and has a kind of roof at the top(like a chinese hat.
Its about 2"in height and has a small hole in the base. I have a couple of photos if you need them. Sorry I don't know how to place then on this forum.
Never seen anything like it before
Kind regards
Gary

For the unhelpful bozo who thought it was a cartridge or a riddle/joke. I have found out that it is a Queens wasp nest??? details can be found via this link Wasps
In future if you have not got something sensible to say then butt out!
Kind regards

chill, im sure no offence was intended, and as a public forum people are entitled to speak. As far as i can tell it was all done in a friendly fashion,. Its a shame, but equally fascinating that you have a wasps nest. I would be pretty happy anywho, lol... im just wierd like that.
it would be interesting to see photographic updates about its progress... that is unless you plan on getting rid of it 'dont blame ya if you do!'

People on here often joke about, it's part of the fun of being a member. It's just hard to say what something is by a vague discription. It is always best to add pics.
