Well I took some pics of the spider in the window.......got really close.
I quite honestly think I could pick this one up!.....I dont want to disturb her though I have watched her from when she was tiny.
She is my built in window fly net.






After taking these I happened to look in the bath and saw this little booger.


I thought........right this must be a sign!!.....I had picked up the biggest cricket that morning that had escaped and was driving me insane.....so thought if I can pick that up this has to be easy!

I even put a latex glove on so it couldnt touch my skin.
Anyway it started runing like buggery and I just could not do it
It is still in the bath now so I am going to have to deal with it some time
Just thought I would tell you how I am doing.

Well done! Seems like your definetly taking the right path to overcome your fear. I really admire you bravery as 99 percent of people wouldn't try and tackle there phobia's!

It used to really upset me and I thought spders were out o get me!

As I have got older I think This is silly....... I am not saying I will ever be HAPPY about spiders I just want to be able to deal with them

i seen one that looks like in the bottom pic i think its a house spider im not sure but it was big my mam just looked and went back on the house and i think the top one is a graden spider.
most people i know hates spiders but thats coz they legs most people say to me but they nothink really lol
