Talking Scorpions...

Right, my fella wants a scorpion and I hate them...! They just... bother me! Can someone recommend what kind of scorpion he should start with and is he best off getting a baby or an adult?
Also, do these things really have 7 eyes or is someone winding me up?!

Personaly I think the best Scorpion to start with is probably an emperor scorpion. Here is a site with some information on them. Cheers http://www.petbugs.com/caresheets/P-imperator.html

That care sheet says Other Names Imperial Scorpion

I thought Emperor scorpin was a diffrent scorpion from Imperial

imperial is more agresive.
And one i think it has hairs on it's pinsers

imperial and emperor scorps are the same thing, just preference on what you call them really.
asian forst scorps are a bit more aggresive than emps.
Emps are best to start with simply because theyre so docile and slow (in my experience anyhoo)

They are the same but again is where the confusion comes in. I always refer to emperor but being honest P imperator eliminates any confusion

Emps are the best starter scorp. Emps and Imperials are the same, just some people refare to them with a diff comon name like they do with some T's. I usually use the Latin names. Asian forest scorps are not a good starter as they are more aggressive. A flat rock is also a good starter scorp.
