Default Do you keep C'pedes?

Does anyone keep pedes?

If you have, what would you say would be the best one to have from



Blue African Tiger Centipede(Scolopendra mortisans)



Giant Vietnam Centipede (Scolopendra subspinipes)


Tanzanian Centipede (Scolopendra species)

Don't keep any inverts ourselves but there is a an asian red centipede in the shop and it's evil, it literally turns and tries to attack anything in the viv. Horrible thing

i keep one a asian red centipede Scolopendra subspinipes he's vicious as hell but i love him i always seem to love the nasty ones !! i wouldnt recommend him as i first pede i would recomend the Burmese Millipedes there large easy to handle and pretty colours

Other animals- 7 Labrador, 3 ferrets, 10 degus, 3 chins, 1 chipmunks, 100mice n rats, 20 odd gerbils, , 7 hamsters, 13 spiny mice, 2 stripey mice, 4 guniea fowl, 2 old english game chickens, 2:2 cream legbars, 6 silver applyard ducks, 1:3 Gold Dutch Chickens, 1:2 Black Turkeys, 4 Bourbon red turkeys, 5 Bronze Turkey

I know people who keep all sorts of pedes and all of them are viscious little things! And they escape... through the tiniest of air holes!

Before seeing the pic of a huge red, yellow and black pede escaping i thought about getting one! lol

1 chinese red giant - Scolopendra subspinipes,
Scolopendra polymorpha,
Scolopendra gigantea robusta - coming soon hopefully

What's the best set up for these, and before anyone says, there are caresheets online, I prefer to ask an actual live person!!!!

I find them fascinating to watch but centipedes and spiders/tarantulas give me the shivers just thinking about them
