Default I have crabs!

Yep, it's true... I am afraid, I have crabs...

And, they're so cool! A sexed F/M pair, Geosesarma sp., from Cornish Crispa at the AES show a few weeks back.

They're cute little things, very shy. But the clincher is... they're breedable in captivity! Having no planktonic larval stage (instead that happening in the egg) they are breedable, which is awesome. So maybe some point I might have some babies from these dudes (and dudettes)!

Crab:

Upside down crab! DUM DUM DUM!

I think he was chillin, maxxin, relaxin, shooting some b-ball outside of the school.

Anyways, what'd you reckon?

They're awesome! Never seen this species before. What's their common name? How big do they get? How much did they set you back if you don't mind me asking? If you do mind then tell me to be on my way!

They're "vampire crabs", but... common names are always very "meh". Anybody can call them anything. In fact, I've now decided they are Purple-clawed-yellow-eye crabs

They were £12 for the sexed pair, and are pretty much fully grown, maybe slightly more growing to do.

Yeh I know all about the perils of common names, lol. I just wanted to know if I had heard of them before! Can you buy them on their website? They don't seem to have any livestock on there.
