Giant asian mantids
Hey ho, justa quick one for some information if you please. My girlfriend is interested in keeping some of these mantids and having read the various caresheets floating around I was wondering if anyone could provide me with any species specific information like lifespan and any possible issues with these being kept as a first invert. Any information would be most gratefully recieved. Cheers Rog

They would make a brilliant first invert. There isn't really anything to add to the caresheets you find on google, they are pretty basic to care for

OK kewl, cheers for the reply dude. whats the lifespan on them like? I've read somewhere that it can be as little as a year, if so I really dont think it would be a good idea for her as she tends to get attached quite quickly!

it is about a year mate but do her a favour n let her get more that will cheer her up lol once she has 1 u wont be able 2 stop her lol my missis is thinkin of bannin me from havin nemore as i now have 5 n wanting more
ozgi has some nice african lined mantids  not to plug or nefin
