I've known locusts to eat other locusts as well, especially if the one being eaten is still soft after a shed. But not to sure about it eating the spider, sounds more likly that it escaped.

I've noticed my locusts sometimes tuck into their dead mates. Though I can't see it trying to eat a live spider. Maybe if the spider had died for some reason?

Don't think so.
Not sure locusts are really equipped to tackle live food

its not physicaly possible for a locust to completely devouer a spider twice its size and leave no remains
its the same as a 10 year old eating his dad in one meal
dont be daft
the spider got out and is now living under the telly lol

leave a heat mat in the room it went missing and keep doors shut ect
and it might turn up
