cross breeding tarantulas is very frowned upon in the hobby, but is possible with certain species

I don't know how much other people feed their spiders but I only feed mine 1-2 hoppers or at most, 3-4 crickets (of appropriate size) a week.. often a bit less. I have a few spiders that only eat 1 hopper or a locust a month....

Therefore I would say do not be suprised that he only ate 2 hoppers and refused the third in a week. You really don't want to overfeed, I think it is worse than underfeeding.

I agree, please don't crossbreed spiders, it isn't needed as there are enough species to choose from as it is.
