I'm not a spider person. TBH I'm scared of them. But anyway lol. A mate of mine says he found this spider in his room.. what is it? he wants to know lol

I guess the free image hosting site my mate put it on didnt like it being viewed lol
so he's put it on one of his servers.

Looks like a male Tegenaria gigantia to me (House spider). That or a very close relative.

nver seen a house spider with an abdomen that big how big is the actual spider?

He reckons 8 cm span legs included? Around that kind of size..

Why, looks like they usually do to me. Females have larger abdomens and the males are more slender and 'leggy' with the boxing glove look to the palps, like the one in the pic
