Looks like a male Tegenaria gigantia to me (House spider). That or a very close relative.

nver seen a house spider with an abdomen that big how big is the actual spider?

He reckons 8 cm span legs included? Around that kind of size..

Any idea?

Why, looks like they usually do to me. Females have larger abdomens and the males are more slender and 'leggy' with the boxing glove look to the palps, like the one in the pic

well lol i dnt really get tht close to em tbh to see em up close S**T scarded lol but ill take your advice
