only ever been hair flicked by a Chile, itched for a little while no big drama.

Someone had a thread a while back, they got bitten by a pocey, it was luckily a dry bite though.

I never put my fingers close enough to my spids to get bitten, well not the adults anyway, I handle my adult G.rosea and I have handled my adult A.avic in the past but all the ones I know can be aggressive I dont get within biting range

Got bit by a bull snake, didn't let go for about 5 minutes, had to hold it under warm water! The bite bled for about 4 hours-not one of my best moments!

an old friend of mine was killed by a pandinus imperator (emperor scorpion)
he had a hypoelergic reaction to the envenomation went into shock and died of heart failure
they buried him on his 21st birthday about 3 months ago

Thats an incredible loss, and a real shame.
I would recommend that it gets reported to a hospital or something to get written up. It might help others in the same situation in the future.
