be very carefully untill you can identify each scorp yourself common names can be different in other parts of the world. there are lots of south american scorpions for sale at the moment fairly cheap so you might be getting a few from that part of the world.

ive sent him with a list of latin names
mostly hadrurus (hairy scorps) and vaejovis oh and some scorpio maurus (gold scorps)
told him no buthidae
and definatetly not Centruroides spp (bark scorps), Androctonus spp (fat tails) or Leiurus spp (death stalker) i know there buthidae but its
incase anyone trys to palm him off with one sayin its sumat else
coz ive got kids i cant keep them
maybe when there a bit older

even in this country you have to be careful buying scorpio maurus as it can be miss identified. I've know of Androctonus australis's being sent with the name Scorpio Maurus. and there are lots of other colour morphs out there that make identification hard.

Where did kids bedroom come into the equation??, all i read was getting handful of random scorpions.


I would love an L.Quins my rooms got pedes piller to post I sleep pretty easy at night.

well, although you got more chance of being bitten by a pede, the bite potential is far worse with the DS, thats the diff
not recommended with young kids,
...not that a pede is either really, lol
