Default Looking Into Pedes

Always been scared of them even the one's in the garden but i saw 1 today. The rep shop worker said it was venemous. Just wondering if anyone had any experience with them and what they are like?
Also what would be the best for a starter?
Many thanks in advance

They are fast agressive and very toxic.

Start with a baby and learn to respect it.

It wont kill you (presuming you are a healthy adult) yet it will hurt like a bitch and put you in hospital. You may need surgery if necrosis is bad.

Having worked with sevral species of variing ages id reccomend a baby S.subsinepes "vietnam" the big and impressive orange ones.

They are fine if you treat them with respect and caution. Dont be an idiotand then you'll get on fine.

I have had sevral pedes (babies)on my skin and they are pretty creepy and i could not imagin the adults. They are extreamly strong also, having picked one up with forceps and with it i brought a few hundred grams of cork!

If one was to get onto your body you would just have to try to use paper or somthing to get it to run onto, since grabbing would just make it bite down. and you woudnt be able to flick it off.

Wanna buy a baby, i have loads for sale?

The babies are harmless until tehy grow. You'll have a year or so before it reaches a harmful size...

None have been DWA listed but there are lots of species that should be, maybe even a blanket scolopendra addition would be welcome. They are certainly more dangerous than many listed species.
