Default What substrate to use?

Hi, got my Red Leg yesterday. What substrate is best for them?
I'm sure the shop worker said coconut husk or something like that. Also what size would be best for an adult Red Leg:
9 x 6 x 7
12 x 7.5 x 8
14.5 x 8.5 x 10
14 x 8 x 6
18 x 12 x 6.5

Those are all Faunariums, does the substrate usually stay the same no matter what T you got?

I use vermiculite mixed with peat, it locks in moisture!

I have switched my T's to coir. They were housed in a mix of potting soil/perlite. I found that it was TOO good at holding moisture and the T's didnt burrow and would spend all day on top of the bark hides. When i swapped it to coir they were straight into their hides no problems!
