1)What is the best invert that you have bought in the past year, and why..? Oh, god, thats a hard one. I would say an A. versicolor as they are my fav T.
2) What is the most dissapointing that you have bought in the last year, and why..? Not disappointed with any. 3) Have you ever had an invert die on you, because you think the conditions were wrong for it...? Yes, I lost a A. avic due to forgetting to removing crix during a shed. 4) What is your worst online experience, buying T's? 2 of the 4 I bought were dead on arival. 5) And best..? Got sent an extra T by mistake and wasn't charged for it. 6) Scorps or T's? Which do you prefer, pick one! Trob T's, but I sway between the two. 7) Have you ever lost an adult inevrt and never found it again? No 9) What is the worst piece of advise anyones given you, in this hobby? Was told (when I first started with T's) to keep the substrait damp all the time. 10) As a keeper of these animals, rate yourself, on a scale of 1-10, for responsibility, and experience? 9 (I doubt anyone will put 10, as we are all still learning every time we deal with our collections) 11) Do you prefer to buy from local shops that you visit, or online? Both 12) What invert would you most like, and why? Sydney funnle web. For the experience. 13) What invert could you never see yourself keeping? Snales 14) If you had to choose, would you opt for spiders and scorps that were safe to handle, or those that were for exhibit only? Choose one! I don't handle any of my collection so it would be exhibit. 15) What invert have you found hard to keep alive in captivity? None really, maybe a few of the arborial slings. 16) If you keep snakes, what would you say is BOTH the most visually attractive yet easy to care for species..? Bull snakes 17) Have you ever scaled down your collection, or stopped collecting..? No 1 19) If you had an online store, what three things would you want to stock for people? Spiders, scorps and snakes 20) If someone with an allergy to shellfish were to eat a cooked scorpion (they are eaten I beleive), are they likely to suffer the same reactions, as they would eating the shellfish, or not..? No, they wouldn't be effected. |

Probably the pair of Chilobrachy fimbriatus 10 got them free which was nice and I miss the female I sold so hoping these will be a breeding pair 2) Havent bought so many inverts this year and all bought were good. Guess the praying mantis I bought died after a couple of monthes even though it was wasnt mature 3) Quite possibly but no way of knowing mainly when it comes to slings 4) Havent had one yet so think myself lucky 5) The spider shop or BTS show every time 6) Probably tarantula 7) No I have lost a couple of slings never to be seen though My juvenile pair of Heteroscodra maculata, they would make a nice breeding project. 9) Normally petshops that deal mostly with reptiles and give you a tarantula mis identified. I bought a C. fimbriatus and was labelled as C fasciatum 10) For inverts I would give 8-8 (being modest) with snakes would give 9-3 (read up lots on reps for years but practical keeping is fairly rescent) 11) Online or shows 12) Has to be P metallica 13) G rosea (NCF) find them really dull and boring that or P cancerides (haitian brown taranutla) 14) Exhibit only 15) H schmiditi (one escaped and one died) 16) Guess would have to say corns for visual and easy to keep or kingsnakes 17) I have scaled down many times but always end up with a couple more again. The most ive had is near 30 and the least is 15 and fluctuates all the time 1 Some think its cool some are terrified some think its weird mixed really 19) Inverts, vivs both glass and wood and snakes 20) ...wouldnt have thought so but its not very often a person with shell fish alergy eats scorpions so hard to know without trying lol
