i got a spiderling mexican redknee and he is about 1cm i have had him for a month now and when i had him he had a white patch on his bum and now he got a black patch on his bum its only been there for 3 days now its taken over the white its like he is a chameleon its the same size as before the white spot but i dont know what wrong.

i wouldnt panic, its probably just going into shed, their abdomen goes very dark before shedding, just dont leave any crickets in with it and you should have a nice shiny spidey in a few days!

yay i been waiting for this day i must be doing something right omg he is going to be 2 cm now i am very happy i got a cricket in with him so ill take it out a.s.a.p and thanks for the fast reply.

its great when they grow, lovely to watch the transformation! It'll probably lose its appetite anyway until a couple of days after its shed. Dont worry, youre doing fine!

yes i will get a pic ill go and check to see if he have molted he havnt this morning when i looked but you never know i hope he have.
