My new scorp, thanks to Penny for this one, shes a tanzanian red claw




I keep getting this damn shadow, on the pics but cant work it out.

nice pics

are you using an slr style camera ?
if so the shadow is the flash not making it past the lens housing ?

Is it a fixed flash? or seperate like the old slrs? cause you can sometimes get flashes that you can remove and hold

na its fixed, its a fuji finepix S5600, it was only a relatively cheap one, but it does the job for now.

mines fixed flash ,
but i can remove the lens cover ring .
sometimes have to hold a finger or two over the top of the lens when ive removed the cover though,
just to avoid over brightness

I dont think thats a Pandinus cavimanus, i think its caraboctonus sp. Its from Chile i think, but dont quote me! lol
Beautiful scorp though, really is

Not Caraboctonus, maybe Bothrirus
I dunno now, after taking a second look it does look like pandinus, iv never seen a cavimanus so red if it is
