Well, you have a few choices really. If you want them to hatch, then you can either leave the sac with the female, and see if she cares for it. Then when they hatch you can remove her and put all the slings in seperate tubs (camer film cases are good for slings). Or you can remove the sac and incubate it yourself. If you don't want it to hatch then just remove it, and put it in the freezer (or give the sac to someone who would like it).
this has happened to me too. I've had her for about 3 months and almost 4 weeks ago she started digging and webbing then rolled it into a ball. Only then it clicked what she was doing!
4 weeks on and she is still nursing it - she doesn't leave them at all. She sits on them firmly 24/7.
Do I take it off her at any point or open it to see if there is anything in it (i'm still not convinced she will have babies). ??

If she has been tending to it for that long, then she will prob not eat it (if you keep the conditions right). As I said to zoe; it depends if you want the babies.
