Default What type of cuttlefish?

Getting my baby GALS tomorrow, and I know they need some cuttlefish left in with them, but how do I know which cuttlefish is salt free? or are they all salt free? do i just break it into bits for them at that age or will a while or half a one be ok to put in and then replace when its all gone?
Is there such a thing as having too much calcium?
I was told some people use ordinary white chalk instead??

I would imagine any piece of cuttlefish would be fine for them. I suppose you just pop it in too. I dont think there can be too much calcium, but i dont have a clue about GALS and only know of one person keeping them.

Yes yes habu....

I have a friend with a GALS, and she just puts the bone in whole, and just buys the random ones from the pet shop... nothing special.
