I don't make a habbit of holding mine, but when I fist started with T's and had just the one G. rosea (I remember those days, lol) I picked him up maybe once a week. But now I only hadle for 2 reasons; A) If I need to for some reason, ie. if I need to check for health reasons (but that is VERY rare, or B) When I do a talk on them at schools, Scouts ect, and the only reason I do that is to show them there is nothing to be scared of and that they aint the 'killers' that films make them out to be. When I do this I use a G. rosea (adult female) but NEVER let anyone else hold her, and I make sure everyone knows that it is not a good idea to hold them and I make sure they know that I an very experienced and know what I'm doing.
The only one out of the four I have that I hold is my chilli but only when I'm cleaning him/her out. The others I don't bother with and I'm about to get a female cobalt blue and I definately don't intend to hold her ever.
i never have but i'd like to just once to see what the fuss is all about. And after that i'd probably only handle when cleaning out or if i need to give it a check over
