Default gaint land snails

Do they need a heat mat? if so where do i put it ? on the side as i will cooked it on the bottom

they do like to be warm. me myself i dont use a heat mat because they are on top of some vivs and get heat through that.

ive had mine for a year and a half now and ive had no problems keeping them warm that way

I find they grow faster if you use a small heat mat, babies that I've raised have definitely grown slower at room temperature, I don't bother with a heat mat now though as I don't really care how fast they grow!

mine grow nice and slow thank god They wont breed yet 1000000s of babies

I got them because I want them to breed, so I can feed the eggs to my turts who love them!

Far to little for my terrapins though it would take them years to find them unless i buy a few more for more eggs
