Default HELP! Is my spider dying??

I bought a small (not tiny tiny) salmon pink birdeater sling today from wildside in newport for four pounds. I moved it when I got home into a bigger tub, cos tbh it was quite a big sling.
It didnt move when I bought it, but ran fast and stretched out later on. Now its just huddled up again looking like its scared. I hope thats all it is. He is in the same place as he was earlier with all his knees meeting to hide his body if you know what I mean. I know its not the dying position cos thats when they curl their legs under isnt it? He's not doing that.
But my boyfriend tried moving the soil behind him to move him along with it abit but he didnt respond in any way.
Im gonna give it its old canister for a hide later and leave him to it. I put him somewhere where I can see him without having to move him.

Also, the label on his tub when I bought him said 'salmon pink birdeater (Lasiodora parahybana)' and on the price list it was listed as salmon pink goliath. Now they told me , and another shop did, that its the same type of spider but just a different name for it. Another shop told me its not the same type.
And the shop I bought it from said it will get to 8inches, another shop said as big as a dinner plate, and the other one said 5/6 inches. I read on the net up to 20inches and saw a video on youtube of a huge one thats not even adult yet. It was compared to a cd on there and huge.

i meant up to 10inches at the end of my last post not 20 lol. My boyfriend just tapped him lightly on his abdomen just now and he did move so he is alive and needs to be left alone. will give him his hide later or tomorrow depending on how he is.

An idea is to leave the spid alone and let it settle in.

How big is the T and how big is the tub your using? The two names are the same spider; salmon pink birdeater is the common name, there is another T called a Pinkfoot goliath, but is a totally different spider (T. apophisis) and the other shop may have got mixed up between the two. Thats why I don't really use common names as they are so many of them and can cause confusion when ID'ing a T.

he is moving round now. It is quite a big sling, maybe 3cm. And the size of the tub is a round one, maybe 3 inches high. its not very big at all and when its hide is in there itll be more confined.
So how big have your grown to or whats the biggest recorded?
Any good sites on them. I can find very little info. Just one care sheet.
The substrate is eco earth. It is slightly damp, but not so much so that it sticks to you. It was from the same lot that was made up for my M. robustum yday, so nice and moist. Definatly wouldnt need misting for a while. I couldnt resist him. I got 8 spiders now lol and thats all within I think maybe 3months since I got my first.
I have to know what else they got in whenever I go in there. I find their prices quite good and told I had a good deal with the price on this little one. I know they're not a bright and really pretty spider but I like the fact it gets big lol.
Unsure on a name yet. Will wait till Ive had it a few days.
I hope its gona be a big one :P

I 'think' I read that there was one recorded at 11 inchs, but they usually max out between 8-10 inch. They are very fast growing T's and have been known to reach 6 inch+ in a year.
