Default goliath bird eater question

Hi
Im doing this as a favour for my nephew.
He is considering selling his 2 goliaths and was wondering what sort of price he should be asking for them.

I aint got a clue please help

All i know is that he has a male and female and they look bigger than my hand and scarey

Depends upon actual sizes and confirmed sexes but I would say Female - £40 with tub, Male - £25 with tub.

If they are as big as they sound they would be worth far more than that. I've seen unsexed adults for over £100 in pet shops. If you sell online you could ask upto £80 each (depending on true size).

I know what people 'can' get but those are fair prices to me and thats what I would pay

i dont like getting that close to em to get measure out.

Best way to guage size will be stick a cd or something that is universal in size that people can relate to by or next to the spider and take a pic.

You're looking at around £100 pet shop price.

I'd say £75 online

pet shops rip you off we all know that ive seen mex red knees for 95-105 pound would anyone be willing pay that for brachypelma smithi ??? if they did they would be mad... young gun is right private sales not that much

Yeah, 45 pound for a brachypelma smithi juvie in my nearest shop.........ridiculus!
