I wouldnt recomend a colbalt blue because they burrow and you very rarely see them they dont make good display tarantulas which is a shame because they are beautiful, with indian ornamentals in my experience they dont tend to be aggressive they are more fast and flightly than aggressive where as my colbalt will stand its ground and strike, if you want either of them id go for the ornamental, how long have you been keeping spids and what do you keep?

Indian Ornamental would be a good display T but not a good beginner one, mines always on the back wall of the exo-terra.

Cobalt blue would make a good display hole!
they burrow and are rarely seen

Salmon Pink(L parahybana) make a good display spider, they rarely hide or burrow, grow BIG.

People say they are feisty, but mine has never even so much as raised its legs at me, its as soft as shite

theres plenty of spids you could go for if you wanted, some semi aggressive ones wouldnt nessesarily be out of the picture IMO, but colbalts and pokies are a too fast and aggressive for a novice again thats my opinion

I would say. The various Lasiodora species or maybe Nhandu Chromatuus.

All good display T's, not too feisty and grow whilst you view them !

Dont go African until you have gained more experience.

Good Luck with whatever you choose.

Stay away from the african/asian species like the baboon and ornamentals. As stated by a few others cobalts a rearly seen (One of mine hasn't been seen for 5 months) and ornamentals are soooo fast and they prob have the worst bite out of all the T's. If you want a display T other than the norm you could try a Green bottle ble (Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens). As youngsters you tend to see them all the time, when older they create the greatest web in the T world. Plus they are really nice looking.
