Thank you very much for your help. I spoke to the guy i'm getting it off and he said he used cotton wool, but i take it thats not a good idea. Is it ok for my other t's? (Chilli rose, Salmon pink and gold knee)

Cotton wool is a no-no for any T, it is just a breeding ground for little nasties. Just use spag moss.
