Hey sis, Charlotte always walks upsidedown. They got a better grip than you think, although I would think it best to make the sub higher.
I just picked up Trinitys tub to look at her and didnt realise she was walking round the top near the lid and she jumped down and landed on her feet. Not too worried about her though as I heard they jump often like that, but still wish Id realised. Shes ok, but gonna keep an eye on her.

Default Fall

Hi, I'm Leannes mum who also has a Chili rose that likes to wander around her tank upside down on the roof. Mine has fallen about two inches too but landed on her flowerpot hide. My substrate is bone dry but she does have a nice water bowl with a pebble in it for moisture. Maybe mine and Leannes are related to get up to such antics.

Default Fall

I tried posting this earlier but it didn't come out. I'm Leanne's mum and I too have a Chili Rose and mine likes to wander around the top of her tank uspide down too. The substrate is bone dry and she has a water bowl. Luckily mine fell onto her flowerpot hide and was fine.

Can you get pics of your setup? If so I will make it easier to help.

Unfortunately I can't any pics at mo as my laptop is in for repair so I'm accessing the net through the Wii.

I have just measured everything. The tank is 6 1/2 inches from floor to lid, the dry substrate is 1 1/2 - 2 inches and my T is appx 3 1/2 - 4 inches. I'm thinking I will add more substrate.

I was also wondering how old my Chilean Rose might be at that size and will my B.Smithi sling also need same conditions when bigger, i.e. dry substrate etc.

Thanks
Leanne
