Exclamation My T is a little wuss!

Right i've had my B.Smithi since august last year, its only about 6-7 cm legspan. I haven't seen it eat anything the whole time ive had it (6 months)

Whenever a cricket or hopper goes anywhere near it my T legs it! (pun intended) I dont know what its scared of when it could easily kill and eat the little sods! It has had a bald abdomen for about 5 months, hasnt eaten and hasn't moulted.

What is going on!?!

Is the food item too big? Try giving smaller food more often. If it's bold then it's either due a moult or is stressed causing it to flick hairs (could be due to handling if you handle it?).

Well what size should it be eating? I try and feed it black crickets which are about half the size of an adult black cricket. Maybe i just need to experiment a bit more with food items?

or try medium sized mealworms or even wax worms but dont get too many as they very quickly turn into moths and they can be a pain for both you and the spider to catch
