She,s moulting. Don't disturb her or she could die. Just leave her be and in a few hours she will have a nice new coat on If she was dead she would all her legs curled under her.

Just leave her. It'll take a long time for her to moult. Nothin to worry about.

She's moulting

It can take hours. Fascinating to watch though - their legs wiggle a little bit - imagine them trying to get out of a catsuit that's two sizes too small lol

She'll be a little skittish for a few days, and then her fangs will darken. I'd leave it a fortnight before introducing any food. If you're REALLY careful, and she's nowhere near the moult, you can pick it out. It's still really supple, so you can mould it and let it 'set' for a few weeks, and then you have a really cool display thing

2 things to reassure you. Ts almost always molt on their backs, Ts rarely die on their backs. The molting process however is a very vulnerable time as moving out of the old skin requires that the new skin be soft, including its new fangs. As the body of the T can take up to a week to harden so you should avoid disturbing your T. All that's required is a water bowl to help with humidity, making the molting easier, and the removal of live food. Crickets might attack a molting T and as its defensive you'll soon find a T that has died on its back! You should also avoid feeding the T until the body and especially the fangs have hardened.
