Just a thought but..... why not leave it a few days and wait. Then perhaps introduce a different feeder! In the wild they must have seaonal periods of dormancy. If its Opithosoma (abdomen) is bulbous i would not worry. Just check humdity etc which i`m sure you have done, and then post agin if you are worried.

Fridge is best idea, but don't leave them in for long, after a few minuets they are pretty immobile. you do need a bit of movement to attract the spiders attention.
Would they take a wax worm I wonder?

They will not starve themselves if there is food in there. Sometimes my Chilean Rose does not eat for weeks and then has a greedy spurt. If there are too many crickets in it can freak them out and stop them from eating especially if a moult is due.

I feed my chili roses once a week. And they take down anything I put in there with out a second thought, fingers included sometimes!
