Default Please Help =(

my chile rose sling hasnt eaten in almost 3 weeks now, she shed just under 2 weeks ago and ate her shed (i didnt have time to get it out, woke up in the morning and she was bigger with a couple of tiny bits of a shed left in there)

she wont eat because she's scared of any food that moves and yet doesnt noticed anything that doesnt!!

what the hell am i going to do, she can't just not eat

2 of my B albopilosum slings wont eat live foods
I just leave them dead on a plastic leaf and they eventually find them.

thanks, i'll try that.

any other suggestions? just ive left dead things in there for 2 days before and she hasnt found it, but that plastic leaf thing might help.

Yeah, I find the leaf helps them stand out more against the substrate, not sure if it helps the T any mind.

What different types of food have you tried?

Try maggots or waxies, they tend not to freak T's out too much.

ive tried waxworms, mealworms, maggots, and micro crickets, ive tried all of them alive, wounded and dead and still nothing

i'll give her a couple of hours gap before i try again i think

Rosie's are notorious for fasting.. leave her a week then try again.

My chili went for three weeks without eating and just started again. They are well known for fasting for no apparant reason.
