Question Can tanks be too big?

My new L.Parahybana juvi is in quite a big tank. Can T's have too much space?

jveniles and adults need different sizes the juveniles should not be in too large a tank as there is such a thing as too big of a tank. Baring in mind that a tarantula usually will hang around it's burrow, retreat or whatever and wait for prey, if the prey stays at the opposite end of the tank the whole time the tarantula won't even know it is there.

I have my T in a 2ftx1ftx1ft tank, and she uses about 70% of the tank, so I would say that a larger tank is not a problem for adults.

The added advantage of having a large tank is that it allows for more imaginative decoration (i.e natural, live plants) and it can be set up to be more stable - a larger air volume is more likely to maintain humidity and temperature better than a smaller volume.
