Heh, no worries. I do sometimes worry about people with so many pets - I sometimes wonder if the level of care suffers...

Bit strong maybe? I think the word has been taken a bit out of context...i cant see anything wrong with calling pets a 'collection'. It is only a word and can be put against a group of ANYTHING that an person has gathered together...whether that be animals or stamps!!

Anyway, back on topic...get some pics up. Since finally getting my (well my misses) first spid the other week I cant get enough

Also, where is this pet shop you have been to? Im from Caerphilly so not far from you...always love a look around a new shop.

Bingo. I like to pay attention to my pets, but I also like to do other things. I sometimes find it disrespectful to refer to pets as a collection. No-one refers to Kids as a collection...

I agree in some cases, but I still dont agree with people owning much more than about a dozen pets, out of principle. I've seen too many pictures of people with 100's of Ts housed in shoe boxes and shoved into bookcases to think that these people make good owners. It almost becomes like a collection to show off - and I worry that the care that person could give to one T is far better than the care recived by >10.

No worries, it was a dig at yourself. TBh, when peope have so many pets, there isnt really another word for it. I'd just prefer people didnt rush into owning so many and stopped before it hit a large collection.
