not necisarily (really bad spelling there), my cat wont respond to her name, neither will my sisters cat.
And, yes, i do name all my spids, even my pet house spider! (Called him Buddy, although my budgie is called it too, but spelt different lol)

You got a pet wild spid too? I got a garden one called Bugsy..only small. keep it in a cricket tub cos it kept coming back in all the time and I didnt like the thought of it having the run of the house, as much as it wouldve liked to

Got rid of any baby GALS yet? Mine are so nervous..they keep shoving their heads back in their shells whenever I pick their tub up.
They remind me abit of torties lol. They dont come out much when I spray water either, but as soon as they are back on the shelf they poke back out and start munching again on their lettuce and cuttlefish.
Maybe they'll get bolder when bigger :P
