People say a chile rose is for beginners, but mines fast and extremely nervous, and ive heard horror stories about other peoples Chile Rose's being nutters.

so i'd go with
Mexican Red Knee (Brachypelma Smithi)
Mexican Red rump (Brachypelma Vagans)
or possibly a Curly Hair (Brachypelma albopilosum)

Good idea

lol listen 10 years ago I actually fainted at a house spider, how mad is that lol. I don't handle them all, cos some are baboons and pokies. But the babies are fine. If I can handle them everyone can. Anyway you dont have to handle the babies if you dont want, just watch me.

I think that would be a good idea. Research can be fun and you can take it as far as you need to. I still research everything about beardies etc even though i had mine a while. It should never end really.
Going to someones house to meet theirs (especially such a variety) would help you no end and would be a great place to start.
Any spider, as said, can be a complete nigtmare or an absolute softie.
My chile is very shy and scared. My red rump is very skittish and my red knee is just a sling but always comes up to see me when i pick up his tub lol.
I am scared of house spiders still, especially big ones.
I am abit better with the smaller ones now, but I dont see T's as spiders anymore really either. They seem different somehow...prob something to do with being a completley different type of spid lol. But my first helped me no end and so quickly too.
And as my spider family grows, I feel better.
