What is my Chile up to?
She is an adult female I bought back in November. Her substrate is a mix of compost and vermiculite, and she has half a plant pot as a hide. Previously she has dug out shallow depressions under her hide, but now she is being really constructive. First she laid a thin layer of web at the outside of her hide. Now She is digging in her hide and carrying 'armfuls' of substrate mixed with web(I didnt know they could do this - great to watch!) and stacking it at the front of her hide. After every couple of armfuls, she puts a thin layer of web down. It seems that she is building a wall. Anyone know what is going on?

Just had another look and she appears to be webbing herself into the hide - quite a layer of web appearing to start closing the gap between 'wall' and the top of the hide.

Maybe she's preparing to moult? My chile has built walls too, no web involved tho, and done nothing with them, lol.
