Default getting a praying mantis.

I'm ordering one of these jungle jar things in a few weeks Jungle Jars
and i was just wondering if any of you have ever ordered from here.
i just want to know that the mantid will still be healthy and alive when i get it
And just a quick question how often and how much do you feed a giant asian mantis ?

thanks in advance,
Sam

if u want to save money just get a sweetie jar from your local newsagents ( its the same as a jungle jar) put some sumstrate in bottom with 2 wooden twigs and ull off saved yourself six pound n then buy a mantis from somebody off of BUG NATION :: Index ull save yourself some money

and some people have told me that guy is a nightmare to get hold off

I get weekly deliveries from here and know graham well. What he doesnt know about mantids isnt worth knowing and ALL his stock is bred by himself unlike many other suppliers.I cant recomend him highly enough to anyone wanting mantids.

Thanks berber king thast exactly what i wanted to hear XD seeing as you obviously keep them i was just wondering the jungle jar that he sells is that large enough for keeping the giant asian mantis in for life?

I think giant asian mantis's and peacock mantis's are lovely and would be such a lovely addition to my reptile room, well my bedroom

Yes,should be ok for an adult mantis, ive kept Grandis in jungle jars with no problems. They are basically the sweet jars but with a pre-drilled feeding hole and foam bung for ventilation, they come with substrate and decor also.
