Default mantis problems

if it is too cold for a mantis what will happen? will it stop eating, will it loose limbs or claws etc.

im asking this because im having a bit of trouble with my new flower mantis nymphs. bith are eating very well but one of them which has just moulted seems to have lost a millimeter or two of the end of its claw. i thought this might have been because it was to cold so they are both on top of my fish tank and it is plenty warm enough.

It'll stop eating and then probably die.

They lose limbs and have bad moults when its not humid enough. Flower mantids NEED humidity!

i cant remember now what i sent u..where u the one that i sent 3 healthy ones and 1 free one with missing claw? and leg?i cant remember now?

if its having shedding problems its probably cause your humidity is to low..how often do u mist..them flowermantis need to be in min of 70f.65f they will live but they wont be happy..even if its 50f its not going to loose any limbs..lol..it may if humidity is to high..they can get fungal infections if its to high.

Its quite a good idea to keep them in a terarium with plants requiring similiar conditions. If the plants doing ok chance are the mantis will be as well.As with previous post humidity.
