The word I used "Toy" means "kind of pet animal" or "animal in capitivity" for human ego and the life.

They heal us and entertain us.

I do take my boelens at my balcony. As you mentioned, it might not be 100% safety. Risky yes.
But I don't do same thing with my Jampea/Blue beauty/ turtle etc which are not being arboreal animal or animal moving fast/being jamper/being fear at higher place.

My boelens always seems enjoy sun basking at my balcony and stays on there with no movement, with clinging tighly. i always watching him and besides him.

Filthy dirty balcony? I wipe it and it is always under the sun. Sun beam make it dry and kill all filthy bacterias.

Yes, my animals might be a kind of "Item" for taking pictures.

But the most suitable word should be "my idol model" for my camera.

i do love my animals in my way of love.

you do love your animals with your way of love.

Our love for animals cannot measure with a rule.
