That explains why you show no regard for your animals saftey and wellbeing.

Makes sence now. I hope they entertain you lots, since that is obviously the only reason you have them.

To me animals are companions and and captives. They are for my enjoyment, yes. BUT the life of the animal is the most important thing and i would never refer to them as "toys" since they are living beings, not inanimate play things.

I don't think purching a snake high up on a filthy dirty balcony rail, where it could potentially fall to its death (easily done) or contract a disease or illness from the micro-organisms present, and those that can be passed from birds and alike.

And before somone hits back with "if it was in the wild", if it was in the wild, it would not have a concrete floor to fall on, and if it was to fall it may or may not survive. But when in our care it is our duity to protect them from harm.

And a wild snake would have a stronger immune system to deal with pathogens, and disease is still a big problem in the wild.

My animals go out in my filthy dirty back garden that's full of pathogens... Am I a bad mummy?

From the pics I've seen, his animals are always in very good nick... I honestly don't think a single one of my snakes would topple off a foot wide ledge.

As for the use of the word 'toy', I'd take into consideration language use differances... A 'toy' can easily refer to a treasured item. (I have no idea on this situation with the language - but I bet he didn't mean it like a 'push-along-car that breaks kind of toy...)
