I know, he was like that when we got him. His previous owner used to feed him all sorts, even meat! He was severly under weight and malnurished, he's put on 2lb since we've had him (6 months) and he's a lot healthier now We have a happy little tortoise

lovely looking, but it looks to me like an indian star with that lumpy shell, are you sure it isn't?

absolutely positive... the reason he has a lumpy shell is due to the diet he was being fed before we got him. He was being fed all sorts, including meat, and he was malnurished and only weighed a pound. He has now put on 3 pounds since we've had him (nearly 7 months) and the vet says he's in a much better condition. The lumps are gradually getting smaller as he continues to grow but we know that he'll always have them. We're just glad he's happy and healthy

I have got 3 "lumpy Leopards" bacause of the wrong conditions but it adds to their character.

Leo is Lovely - how old is he?
