You can't feed a big sulcata weeds all the time in the winter, it would starve, there is simple not enough, Cabbage is okay in moderation.

Arnt sulcata's like reds in the fact that they can handle fruit and veg?

Cabbage is no goof for any tortoise, it aborbs the calcium.
Sulcatas are always coming up for rehoming on the tortoise trust they get too big.

I have heard that but cabbage is quoted in Highfield's book, I feed mine some greens and it has no bad affects

sulcatas should be feed 70% fresh/dried grasses and 30% weeds, same as leopards. mine will eat plenty of Graze-on in the winter mixed in with fresh grasses and weeds that i find. sulcatas shouldnt really be eating friut either
