Hi, I am in the process of building a vivarium from recycled melamine kitchen cupboards. Due to limited space, I have had to build it vertically which will be placed into an alcove.
The internal dims are 30" tall, 16" front to back & 20" wide. Being as it`s vertical, I would prefer it to be arboreal, can anyone suggest what would be a good beginners lizard that would be ok living in that space ?
Also, what lighting / heating will I need & what size / how many vents should I use ?

Not sure if its viable but I would be tempted to get a chameleon. I don't know much about them. I imagine it may be too small later on though. If you have no choice but to use that permanently there are a number of geckos that like to climb I believe.
